Aaron B. Cowley has served as Chief Scientific Officer at Recipharm Advanced Bio since 2019, bringing over 20 years of experience in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. He is recognised for driving innovation while maintaining scientific rigor, combining deep technical expertise with strategic leadership. Previously, he held senior roles at Captozyme, including Chief Technical Officer and CEO, where he led technology development and company growth. Earlier in his career, he worked at OxThera and the University of Georgia. Aaron holds a PhD in Chemistry, an MBA, and a BS in Biochemistry, reflecting his strong blend of scientific and business acumen.

- Integrating PAT data with AI and digital twins and harmonizing and contextualizing analytics to enable actionable insights and faster, better informed manufacturing decisions with less reliance on offline testing
- Developing and validating digital twins using FDA funded programs and regulator endorsed methodologies to gain regulatory confidence in advanced models, reduce risk and accelerate adoption in GMP manufacturing
- Replacing traditional analytical benchmarks with PAT and model-based approaches developed in collaboration with regulators to establish modern acceptance criteria that support successful filings while future proofing process control strategies
