Jan Panteli is a Senior Director of Upstream Process Development and CMC Program Lead at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical, a company focused on developing therapies for rare and ultra-rare genetic diseases. With a multidisciplinary background spanning bioprocess and chemical engineering, cell culture, molecular biology, and data analysis, he supports upstream development and scale-up efforts for AAV gene therapies. In his role, Jan works closely with cross-functional teams to help translate scientific advances into scalable and manufacturable processes that support clinical and commercial programs. Jan is motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the development of therapies that address significant unmet medical needs and to support progress for patients and families affected by rare diseases worldwide.
